BA FPP Overview
British Airways is recognised as one of the world’s leading airlines. With its extensive global route network operated by a world class team of professionals, it’s an airline many pilots dream of working for.
Needless to say, BA wants the best – exceptional individuals who share its passion, wear the uniform with pride and represent the UK's national airline in both a professional and ambassadorial manner – wherever they are, whatever the task – day or night.
If you’ve got what it takes, British Airways’s flagship Future Pilot Programme is your opportunity to fast-track to a job in this prestigious airline. It provides future airline pilots with a dream opportunity – a bespoke British Airways programme for first time pilots leading to a career as a First Officer with BA. And to ensure that the very best talent is selected for training, BA will, where required, provide the necessary guarantee to enable successful applicants to secure the required funding.
In August 2011 British Airways approved CTC Aviation to provide aspiring aviators with the very best training and ensure the airline’s future pilot team is continuously supplied with world-class pilots. So far, this ground-breaking programme has provided an opportunity for 217 new pilots to join British Airways. Many are about to start operating as a British Airways First Officer, while others are either close to completing training, or just about to embark on their dream career with one of the world’s leading airlines.
This year a further 100 new pilots will be selected and trained for British Airways through the Future Pilot Programme.
If you have the talent to join this world-class airline, you could be one of them!
“BA’s Future Pilot Programme is a fantastic opportunity for anyone, from any background, to realise their ambition of becoming a pilot and flying for British Airways.”
