Entry Criteria
To qualify for this unique opportunity and be eligible to apply you need to meet the following requirements:
Australian Applicants
- Hold Citizen or Permanent Resident status in either Australia or New Zealand
- Hold a current CASA or CAANZ CPL and all ATPL theory credits
- Hold a current CASA or CAANZ Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
- Have a minimum of 100 PiC hours
- Hold a CASA Class 1 Medical (not converted through TTMRA )
- Be fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Be prepared to complete a Criminal History, Politically Motivated Violence and Citizenship Check carried out by the Australian Federal Police (AFP), the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) and the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA). To undergo the check the candidate must fill out a consent form and pay A$104.50. Specific instructions for this check will be issued to candidates at the appropriate stage of the selection process and it must be completed before training can commence.
New Zealand Applicants
- Hold Citizen or Permanent Resident status in either Australia or New Zealand
- Hold a current CASA or CAANZ CPL and all ATPL theory credits
- Hold a current CASA or CAANZ Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
- Have a minimum of 100 PiC hours
- Hold a CASA Class 1 Medical (not converted through TTMRA )
- Be fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Be prepared to complete a CAANZ Fit and Proper Person application which includes providing a Criminal Record History (available from the Ministry of Justice) and a Offence History Report (available from the Land Transport Authority)
