Cessna 172 SkyHawk
With more than 43,000 delivered, the Cessna Skyhawk is a proven and reliable training aircraft. Cessna’s classic high-wing design offers many practical benefits including stable flight characteristics and increased visibility.
CTCTC uses 172s for both ab initio and advanced flight naviagation training. Six of our Cessna 172s are equipped with the Garmin 1000 avionics suite. This "glass cockpit" design is identical to the avionic suite found in the twin-engine DA42 and is very similar to that found on modern passenger aircraft.
