If you are an individual training to become an instructor or if you are a CFI of an Aero Club or Flying School training your own instructors, CTC can offer you a CAANZ Part 141 Approved Instructional Techniques Course.
This training is mandatory for any trainee instructor and the requirements are outlined in CAANZ Rule Part 61 and AC61.18 Appendix II. CTC's course meets or exceeds all of the listed requirements.
The course is delivered over four days. Not only are the techniques of instruction taught, they are demonstrated throughout the course by our CAANZ Approved Course Facilitator. Trainee practice gives plenty of scope to try new skills.
CTC's Instructional Techniques Course is delivered by Raewyn Calvert. Raewyn is an experienced teacher with many years teaching a variety of age groups - from primary school to lecturing in adult teaching within a Polytechnic.
Her facilitation skills have been used for teaching adults in everything from childbirth education to road safety and including aviation Instructional techniques, spread over many years. Raewyn has worked closely with CAANZ to ensure all the objectives and intentions of the rule are met.
